In the church today there are 2 common mistakes when it comes to the proper treatment of spiritual leaders. People are put them on a pedestal, or treat them in a common, carefree manner. Both are wrong. The apostle Paul wanted his young protégé to attach great value to spiritual leaders, of which Timothy was one of them, without going beyond what the Lord would allow. This included the area of their financial compensation, which can be a dirty word in some churches. Join us this Sunday at 10:45 am to see what the Word of God says about this important area of the church.

What does it mean to truly be a “servant of Christ” these days? Is it a term we just throw around if we are someone who goes to church, or who believes in God? In the early church landscape the practice of travelling missionaries was common. A certain church leader, Gaius, had a reputation for being a big help to these itinerant ministers of the gospel. What can we learn from his example that will help us today as we reach out to those ministering in foreign lands? Join us this Sunday at 10:45 am to find out. Plan to stay afterward, too, for a special ham luncheon as a final wrap up to our year-long missions project in Bolivia.

No, this is not a slogan advertising a special offering challenge. This is a reference to a dynamic marriage duo, Priscilla and Aquila, who assisted the apostle Paul in his work of planting churches during the New Testament time. They were tireless in their efforts and proved to be a great help in the furtherance of the gospel. What can we learn from these faithful people? Join us this Sunday at 10:45 am and find out! We will also celebrate the Lord’s Table this week.

Do you think your life is insignificant, and that it doesn’t really matter that much to others? Well, think again! Pastor Brian will explore this subject more deeply this Sunday at 10:45 am. Join us this Sunday at 10:45 am as we delve deeper into this important and relevant subject.
